Within the framework of the International GR Forum held in Brussels, National Transport Business League (NLTB) presented the concept of the Engagement Platform of Open Innovation – an e-platform for co-creating of the society, business and government on social problems. The startup was highly appreciated by Microsoft’s in e-technology leader.
During the third panel on tools and practices that create an effective strategy for engagement with the government, CVO NLTB Alexei Musatov presented the concept of the Platform for Open Innovations to the forum participants.
“The work of the Platform is oriented not on the traditional balance of interests, but on the depth of expert knowledge and experience of different groups of people: Area Business Owners, Anchor Institutions, Domain Experts, Community-Based Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations and Government Administrations. Relevance, balance of interests, as well as their society orientation, are provided by unlimited access and transparent format of the work of the Platform”, – explained the essence of the project Musatov.
Director of EU Government Affairs within Microsoft’s Corporate Jeremy Rollison noted that all sectors are gradually shifting to the technology of open innovation and public administration will not be an exception.
After the discussions, officials of NLTB and Microsoft discussed the possibility of further cooperation.

The e-Platform is under development, the launch of the pilot project is planned for the first quarter of 2019.
